CHERUBINI: Concert Overture in G
BEETHOVEN: Symphony No 5
CHERUBINI: Requiem in C Minor
The first four notes of Beethoven's Fifth are the most famous in all of classical music, and all that follow have proven equally as iconic. Also, for the first time on the Masterworks stage, projections by multi-media artist Jean-Jacques Gaudel will accompany a performance of Cherubini's Requiem in C Minor, a work Beethoven held in higher esteem than Mozart's.
